The Vid Mate App has received a App lot of attention since it was first launched last week, and rightly so. The app gives users access to millions of movies and television shows from around the world, for a very affordable monthly fee. While not all of these programs are free to download, many are free or have at least a modest cost. I must say that the free stuff is kind of boring, and while paying for stuff you get what you pay for. However, the service is great, and the apps themselves can be downloaded easily with minimal effort on your part.
The Vidmate App uses a familiar " Vidmeo" technology to allow users to stream all kinds of media files to their computers. This includes mp3s, podcasts, videos, images and music. One of the great features of the app is that it supports the transcoding of videos for use in computer monitors, so you don't need to convert them when transferring them to an ipod or other device for playing on your pc. This is a huge time saver, as you'll be able to view your videos in the exact format they were originally stored in.

The Vidmate App provides some basic functionality for the computer user who doesn't want to spend hours searching through internet streaming sites for the perfect video. However, it does have some other features that I would consider useful as well. The Vidmeo remote control allows the user to control the video playing process, and there is even a feature that allows the person watching their video to answer questions. The remote control is extremely easy to use, and the apps work flawlessly once you get used to them. If you want the ultimate in home entertainment, you definitely want to check out the Vidmate App. All of my videos play flawlessly on the Vidmate App, and I've found no problems with its quality or performance.
